[..CAP1] I DO HAVE A BANK STORY TO TELL YOU FROM A VERY GOOD FRIEND IN CALIFORNIA. SHE ACTUALLY CALLED BOTH WELLS FARGO AND CHASE TODAY. SHE HAD TO GET A FEW DOCUMENTS NOTORIZED AND WAS ASKING THEM WHAT THEIR HOURS WERE.

SHE DID NOT MENTION DINAR AT ALL.

SHE ASKED WELLS FARGO, HOW LATE ARE YOU STAYING OPEN TODAY? THEY SAID TIL 7. AND SHE SAID THAT’S UNUSUAL ISN’T IT? AND THEY SAID YES. WE USUALLY DON’T STAY OPEN THAT LATE.

[wycoffjul] ..CAP1 My Chase Bank told me they would be open Monday, said they are not usually open on President’s day but the will be this one. I’m in a very small rural area of WV so it really surprised me that they would be open.

klgpac] I set up an acct at 5/3 this morning. They seemed clueless when I mentioned “TAG” accounts or Frank Dodd Act, etc. Ultimately, what they called and found out is that as long as it is non-interest bearing checking, it is AUTOMATICALLY a part of this coverage

I checked back a few minutes ago and the Currency people are still in a C/C . The currency manager would call back as soon as they were out and give a update.

6:58 pm [..cap1] iit was an emergency meeting with the foreign currency people from all the 5/3 branches, i believe. They are still on the call and have been for over two hours.
