With the UN Security Council due to consider a resolution condemning violence in Syria, a Britain-based rights group says Syrian government forces killed more than 200 people in the city of Homs.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said late February 3, shelling of Homs, a center of unrest during nearly a year of violence in Syria, killed 217 people and left hundreds wounded.
